I am personally setting some weight loss goals for the new year and so my thought is that everything I eat will have to pass my smile first. I have done this before where I had my teeth professionally whitened giving me a reason to pass on the coffee and wine. I took the family to the Yankee Candle Factory Store today and FINALLY found a good post holiday sale! We found towers of large jar candles for up to 75% off, car jar airfresheners that were a 3 pack for $1, votives for $1 each and a few other great items I can give as gifts throughout the year at 75% off. In the end I had 9 large jars, two medium jars, 3 3-pks of air fresheners, 2 spa diffusers, 4 candle shaped lip balms, 18votives and 5tarts for less than $150! Maybe with that list I should sing “on the 4th day after Christmas the bargains bought by me…”

Canvas People is offering their free 8X10 photo on canvas. I have ordered this before and it makes for a wonderful gift for any occasion. We took a pic of all of the grandchildren and had it made into one for my mother’s 60th birthday and this time I will be ordering one from my inlaw’s 50th Wedding Anniversary. My only tip for you on this is to make sure that you do NOT crop photo before having it made into a canvas or add a border to the outside of the picture. The edges of the picture will be wrapped around the frame and it will cut off your subjects. Be sure to “click the pic” and it will take you to this latest promotion.
