My kids love the musical sound of the Ice Cream truck! We live on a lake so we are a regular route. He stopped coming by this week since public school started, yay! I bought my children ice cream from him for one week this summer and then I asked them if they would earn their own money. They had a few lemonade stands to buy ice cream. I stocked the freezer full in case they wanted to save their money.  It taught them how expensive the ice cream is. They spent their money a lot at first and then opted to save it more often. One time my husband started a trend to go to the freezer and run around the yard with ice cream when the ice cream truck music started playing. They had to stop him for the ice cream! It was too funny. This was a great summer!
