Whole Foods donates all of their day old breads and bruised organic fruits to different organizations. (Panera Bread does this too!) Whole Foods donates to a church we attend in CT for a homeless ministry each week. Occasionally when they have extra, they donate to our church. This month we ended up getting around $150 in free food! I froze the breads in our deep freezer and we are well stocked! We even got cupcakes which is awesome because this month is birthday central in our house and our neighborhood too! With my husband on a student salary while getting his phd, this is a huge blessing to us!
