2008 Christmas Tour of Homes
Welcome to our New England cottage!
We want you to share in our first real Snow last week! Here is a picture of our new house. When we looked at this house for the first time, God blessed us with a fresh peppering snow. It was really special to get our first snow while living here! (Here is the story of how He gave us our house!) We love our little house and are so thankful for it!
Here is our tree! My husband found our Christmas tree stuff in all our extra moving boxes! Our tree is artificial (shh!) and it’s really only half up, the back is not all there. My husband has major skills! Notice the Texas Star on top. Thankfully, I will always be a Texas girl at heart Ya’ll!
Annie our black lab joining in on the Christmas fun! She was a really good sport!
If you look under the tree, you’ll see this gift. It is one of the most special gifts to me ever, because Landon my five year old made it for me at Awana’s and (was told to) put it under the tree as a surprise for me. I have no idea what it is! I am so excited that he made something special! It also has a bookmark on it that says Jesus is the Promised Savior. Now that is priceless!
My last picture I want to show you is my poinsettia. When I was a little girl, my mom would ask me to get her one every year. It was so special to her. Well this love has carried over and now I ask the boys to get me one every year. This year Logan picked it out for me (on clearance baby)! It is so special!
This is the end of the tour sweet friends! Make sure you head over and check out BooMama’s tour of homes! Merry Christmas!
Love, BSL

A-w-w-w! Thanks for opening up your home and sharing a few special moments from your family. I think it is so special that Landon made you a gift. I can’t wait to experience that when my little ones get older. Those moments will be priceless. Merry Christmas and a New Year of continued blessings.
