Did you happen to see Stephanie from A Year of Crockpotting on the Rachael Ray show this week? She has taken on an amazing challenge to cook out of her crockpot for an entire year AND all of her recipes are gluten free! That means no eating out, for an ENTIRE year! WOW!
I have to say that I love this blog and here’s why:
1. This challenge is hard and Stephanie has stuck to it. I think she should write a book. I would totally buy it for all my gluten free friends! I know so many people who have a child who needs gluten free food.
2. She’s popular, but she’s not too big that she won’t write you back when you leave a comment on her blog. She shared with me that when you get this creative with your crock pot, it can save you a lot of money and it’s a whole lot cheaper than eating out!
3. She scored a slot on the Rachael Ray show and she did a great job showing off her ability to “crockpot!”
4. She’s adorable in person but cool enough to put this hilarious profile picture of herself on her blog!

ACK! I think she has a different website for now, which is sad. I’ve Googled her and still can’t find her. That’s too bad. I’d love to see what she says.

I googled Rachael Ray + year of crockpotting and this came up. I didn’t see the show, but I’m hoping this is the site you were talking about.

I also saw her on Rachel Ray and was reminded of the awesome tool a crock pot is! When the school year starts, I plan on checking this site often and making the most of my crock pot! By the way, in response to Valerie’s post, A Year of Crockpotting can be found at http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/.
I’m a new blogger, and look forward to reading all you have to share.

aw, thank you for such a nice write-up! I’m going to send this to my mom…
you are so sweet; thank you for totally making my day.
The crock-pot is such a marvelous tool to save money—it really is. In year’s past, I would cook a stew, bean dish, or pot roast and we would pick at the food for a good 3-4 days. I actually don’t *like* cooking, so the crockpot (usually!) enables me to not have to cook so often.
thank you again!
